Our 3rd stay here but we had to change rooms the first night as there was a problem with the electrics, but we were glad we did as the new room was much bigger and given we were staying 8 nights we needed the space. The first room 201, is small with an accessible wet room rather than the lovely larger bathroom that we had in 206. The views are good from all rooms we've had but I think the 2nd and 3rd floors are the best. The staff are lovely, breakfast very good, housekeeping excellent, beds very comfortable. Plenty of towels and toiletries. 2nd room was missing a hairdryer but one was found immediately. Reasonably priced mini bar and free tea/coffee replenished daily. The views from the bar/terrace are lovely. The hotel is next to the castle and also on a bus route, which we used frequently, very cheap to get in to the city centre

The hotel is amazing, beautiful location. The room was elegant and the view incredible. Great balcony and the bed was really comfortable. Hot shower, everything you need in the bathroom. Staff were lovely and friendly. Slow service at the bar but we were on holidays, not in a rush, but on occasion we did leave and just headed into town as we were waiting so long to order a beer. Food was lovely, the breakfast is expensive so we chose to eat in town most days. We will definitely return to the hotel and I would highly recommend, It is a hike back up the hill but lots of affordable taxis. Oh and the pool area is great also :)

Have stayed in the city centre and now up the hill. Up the hill has amazing views of the city and is quiet. Taxi downtown is approx €7 each way. Room was very nice, we were on the bottom floor so we heard the staff coming into work in the morning. It was a nice room but I think we might prefer 3rd or 4th floor next time. I did ask to view the "superior rooms" but there were none available to view. Parking is easy. Lounge and balcony areas are superb. Didn't use the rooftop pool but I will next time. Staff were really nice both in the bar and in reception. Especially the gentleman at reception who checked us in and out

Great location, with a wonderful view of the city of Malaga and along the coast. Rooms were spacious. Staff very helpful and friendly. It is possible to walk to the city along a tree lined path. The walk takes about 20 minutes, it is steep in places - wear appropriate footwear. There is a regular public bus that stops outside the entrance gate to the hotel. The bus costs 1.40 euro to travel to the centre of Malaga and takes about 10 minutes. The food at breakfast and in the bar was delicious. We will be back.

Very nice hotel Bit pricey but worth it for the view and the ambiance Brilliant views from the whole hotel Lovely breakfast and dinner on the terrace If you stay you can book this but it is a fair system so pick the night that you want the terrace view We were fortunate to have 5 terrace experiences We had the breakfast and dinner package Staff are very good and very nice Easy walk downhill to the town centre Bus 35 back up the hill €1.40 per person
